RULES AND REGULATION

PIRATES RACE 2020:

All participants in the tests accept the following regulations, "pirates race regulations" and it will be their obligation to know, respect and abide by the rules established therein.

 

PARTICIPANTS:

ART.1 - PARTICIPATION:

All persons over 13 years of age, who have successfully registered within the established deadlines, may participate.

This regulation is subject to the ocra Spain and ocra cv obstacle course regulations and therefore any disqualified by ocra Spain or ocra cv will also be disqualified from said test.

 

REGISTRATIONS:

PARTICIPATION:

ART. 3 - PARTICIPATION CONTROL:

It will be essential in pirate races, show the ID and bring the duly signed responsibility sheet to the chip / race number collection.

Anyone who does not present the duly signed responsibility sheet on the day of the test will be grounds for disqualification, thus losing the right to participate in the same test and not being able to score.

Registered participants will always have their chip / bib for the race and must return it at the end of each race.

All those enrolled in a race in one category must participate in the test in that category, and may not score in any other category than their own.

The fact of participating in a category other than yours, will be excluded from any classification

.

 

 

DISQUALIFICATIONS:

ART. 4 - DISQUALIFICATIONS:

 

ART.4.1

It will be a reason for disqualification the fact of running with the number or chip of another runner, not counting the race as disputed. In this case, the two participants will be disqualified and will lose the right to the gift / gift of the race, as well as to the different classifications, trophies and prizes.

ART.4.2

For competitive rounds it will be a reason for disqualification to run without a bib number and it will have to be worn either printed on the kit or with a bib. running without the chip will also be grounds for disqualification.

For non-competitive rounds they must have the bib number printed on the kit, printed on a bib or painted somewhere on the body where it is visible.

ART.4.3

Failure to complete the entire route set by the organization.

 

ART.4.4

Provide altered personal data or give it incomplete at registration.

ART.4.5

The organization reserves the right to prevent participation in future editions as long as the offender is a repeat offender.

ART.4.6

The organization of the test reserves the right to disqualify any participant until 5 days after the event after reviewing videos and photos with clear evidence of infractions and / or irregularities.

 

ART.4.7

Receive any foreign aid organization will be cause for disqualification.

 

ART.4.8

Angrily protesting, repeatedly inappropriately claiming, or rebuking a Marshall, volunteer, organization member, or timekeeping company member will be cause for warning.

The warning will penalize in 3 minutes the final time of the racer that has received it.

If protests, inappropriate claims, rebuke .... persist the racer will be disqualified from the test.

 

ART.4.9

The commission of judges for each race will be made up of 4 people:

Two members of the organization

-a member of the timing

-a member of ocra (marshall)

and they will be the ones who decide on the spot as quickly and transparently as possible the resolution of any conflict.

 

ART.4.10

In case of doubts, the organizer's criteria will prevail

 

 

TROPHIES:

ART.5 .- TROPHIES:

In each pirates race, the winners of the different categories will be presented:

-1º, 2º and 3º classified male and female elite

-1st, 2nd and 3rd classified teams

-1st, 2nd and 3rd classified couples

 

 

SECURITY:

ART. 6. .- SAFETY IN THE TEST:

The organization will provide each test with medical service during the competition, as well as an ambulance transfer to the hospital, if necessary.

The organization will be covered by the civil liability insurance and sports accident insurance.

It will not be allowed to run with children, nor accompanied by animals or pets.

 

 

DISTANCES:

ART. 7 .- DISTANCES OF THE TESTS:

The organization will be in charge of facilitating and verifying the distances and obstacles of each test.

PERSONAL DATA:

Art.8 .- PERSONAL DATA AND IMAGE RIGHTS:

The inscription in each test supposes the consent of the holder for the treatment of his personal data, as well as the communication and the publication in the media.

 

Participants authorize the capture of the videographic and photographic format of their image during the tests and the subsequent dissemination and promotional use by any means of reproduction.

The assignment is made free of charge.

Once the images have been published, participants will not be able to request the withdrawal of those they consider inappropriate, even when their own image appears on the image.

Holders may exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by writing to the organization.

ACCEPTANCE:

ART.9 .- ACCEPTANCE

The organization reserves the right to change the regulations, dates and routes of the tests for justified reasons if it deems it appropriate, publicizing the changes made and making it public through its website and social networks.

RETURNS:

ART. 10 .- RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:

No refund of the registration fee will be offered to individual runners, teams or couples who have not made the purchase of the cancellation insurance after registering.

The transfer for next races, name change or time change (even if there are still places) will not be allowed as long as they have not made the purchase of the cancellation insurance after registering.

After registering without the appropriate cancellation insurance, no cause will be justified, no injury or any other case exposed.

The organization reserves the right, at its sole determination, to postpone, cancel or modify the event due to weather conditions or other factors beyond the control of emissions that may affect the health and / or safety of the participants.

 

Refunds will not be granted.

TEAMS:

The teams will be made up of a minimum of 4 participants and an indefinite maximum.

It will not be necessary to make the circuit together, as well as not reaching the goal and they can help each other overcome the crowning obstacles.

For the scoring, the entry time of the 4th team participant in passing through the goal arc will be taken, having overcome all obstacles. In case there are no teams with which 4 of their participants have overcome all obstacles, the time of the 4th participant of each team will be taken to pass the goal.

These rounds are governed by the bear regulations (obligation to overcome obstacles), and they cannot fail in any obstacle to be able to score in the final team classification. They will have obstacles adapted to their level.

COUPLES:

The couples will be formed by 2 participants and may be mixed or of the same sex, which will score all of them in the same classification.

The 2 participants must make the circuit together, from the start to the passage through the goal arch, there can never be more than 10 '' difference between the 2 participants that make up the pair.

They can help each other overcome the crowning obstacles.

These rounds are governed by the bear regulations (obligation to overcome obstacles), and they cannot fail in any of them to be able to score in the final classification of pairs. In the event that there are no pairs with all obstacles duly overcome, the best times will be taken in the final scores.

Each and every one of the participants in each and every one of the tests organized by Pirates Race, must present duly filled out and signed the WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND PACT OF NO DEMAND TO THE RACE to the collection of the bibs, if not thus you will not be able to participate in said test.

Minors under 18 years of age must bring the sheets duly completed and signed by the parent or guardian, indicating their ID number and giving their due consent to participate in said test.
